Preparing the suitcase for the birth of Alan |HELEN LIDES

¡Hola a todos!Preparando la maleta para el nacimiento de Alan | Helen Lindes Preparando la maleta para el nacimiento de Alan | Helen Lindes

We enter the 37th week of pregnancy and that means that it is already “at the term”, in other words, which Alan can come at any time.So it is important to have everything ready in case you decide to get ahead and one of the things we must prepare is the hospital suitcase.

Keep in mind that it is normal to spend about three nights at the hospital after a natural delivery and five nights if it is by caesarean section. In my case I hope everything is as natural as possible and, if it does not come with any complication, I will try to avoid caesarean section.

When I started thinking about what I had to take, I didn't know where to start. For me all the "baby world" is new and did not know how to distinguish between a body and a pellele or what the muslinas are for.So I investigated a little online and I also asked my gynecologist what was essential.

As I will give birth in a private hospital I have to take almost everything home and although I have tried to reduce it to the maximum.

In the end I have made a list that I think can be useful for first -time moms like me.

We will have to do two types of luggage, one for us and one for the baby.Of course, if we forget something, someone can always go from the family to look for or buy it but I feel safer making a complete luggage.

I hope you like it!!

Documents folder:

To admit the hospital, and also register your baby when I was born, you need to take several very important documents: the family book, your ID, the insurance card and an envelope where you have all the tests, ultrasound and analysis thatThey have made you during pregnancy.

I have also added my delivery plan to make sure that everything I want and respect my decision to have a humanized and as naturally as possible.

My luggage:

Clothing to spend 2 or 3 days in the hospital:

- Three shirts to receive visits and be comfortable.(Women's Secret and Oysho)

- Three bats in case it is a bit cold and to cover me a little for the visits.(Women's Secret and Oysho)

- Three breastfeeding fasteners. The nightgathers already come with the breastfeeding system but in case I need something that holds me more I take them to me and also to get out of the hospital.(Women´secret and Oysho)

–Aparticate or shoes to be able to take some walk in the room and be comfortable.(Women's Secret)

-It also took several socks in case I need a little more heat on my feet.

Cleanliness:

It is important to keep a bag with everything you will need for your own cleanliness. We can put shampoo miniatures, conditioner, gel, deodorant, moisturizer, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc ...

Also apart a minineceser with some makeup products to receive visits or for hospital output.

Keep in mind that your baby's first days will want to take a thousand photos with him and you will always thank having fixed you a little.

I wear makeup powders, dark circles corrector, blush, tab and cocoa mask for lips. The basics to feel a little prettier and camouflage fatigue.

In addition, lip cocoa comes phenomenal to keep them hydrated because they usually resect a lot.

We can also carry products for the postpartum, which almost always give you in the hospital, but that many women feel more comfortable if they take them home:

- Disposable panties

- postpartum compresses

- Nipples cream

- Absorbent discs for nipples

Clothing to get out of the hospital:

Let's not forget a change of clothes to return home !!I have not yet decided what to wear but surely it will be a warm shelter, a foulard for the throat, some premamá jeans and comfortable boots.Nothing complicated and supercomodo.

Entertainment:

During the dilation hours it is advisable.

To mitigate labor pain you can also help you a pilates ball or immerse yourself in a hot water bath (in some hospitals they already offer you this possibility)

You can also take some body cream so that your partner or a relative gives you a back massage. They say it relieves a lot and is very rewarding.

Alan's luggage:

All clothes have been previously washed with special detergent for baby clothes and all the labels removed so as not to harm.

First set and to sleep:

6 bodies

6 pajamas or peleles

Nanos gray pelele, Cotton Juice's light blue and blue with the cloud of sweets.Cotton Juice Bodys

Clothing to receive visits or for hospital output:

I have chosen these three sets that I think that apart from being very beautiful they are extra comfortable.I don't like the idea of dressing the baby too much.

To get out of the hospital I also have a very warm bag with a hood so that nothing cold happens.

Zara Home Kids and Manta de Cotton Juice Muslines (El Chupete is only decorative)

Blankets, lulls and muslines

We should also take some blanket to wrap the baby when we have it in arms and breastfeeding muslines to clean it after each shot.

For cleaning:

Ecological diapers and wipes:

Ecological diapers respect the environment and are extra soft with the baby's skin since they do not contain chemicals.(Naty)

Natural sponge:

For his first bathrooms it is enough to wash him with a natural sponge and warm water.(Sofinex)

Clean kit:

Soft brush, comb, scissors, thermometer, nasal vacuum cleaner, nail lime ... (Philips Advent)

Changer:

To change the diapers in bed or in the bathroom(Zara Home Kids)

Towel:

A soft and hooded towel to cover your head and not run cold.(Zara Home Kids)

Baberos, Gorritos and socks.(K’acha and Zara Home Kids)

Accessories:

We cannot forget the accessories to be warm or to feed it.Babies lose very hot by the head so you have to be covered with cotton sparrows.

Luggage ready and near the door of the house so as not to forget !!

I hope you have helped you a little to future moms who are as lost as I ... hehehe

Now it's just waiting ...
