Seungri, former member of the K-Pop Bigbang band, was sentenced to three years in prison by a military court that found it guilty of nine different positions, including embezzlement and acting as a mediator of a prostitution service.
The 30-year-old singer and whose real name is Lee Seung-Hyun, was tried by a military court in Yongin, south of Seoul, because he enlisted in the South Korean Navy in March last year, a couple of months laterhaving formally accused a long list of crimes.The Court ordered its immediate arrest and they are also confiscated 1.150 million wones (about 990.000 dollars/843.000 euros)
Seungri withdrew from the entertainment world in March 2019 after becoming a central figure of an investigation around a club in the gangnam district, in Seoul, called Burning Sun.
