A man was expelled from a plane after wearing women's red underwear as a face mask. This caused others to get off the plane in solidarity with him.

A cabin companion captured images of the staff confronting the man in question: Adam Jenne, 38, before the flight from Fort Lauderdale to Washington took off.

In the video, you can hear the flight attendant say, "you'll have to get off the plane. We won't let you travel."

In the audiovisual content you can see Jenne asking "why", while the staff reply: "you are not fulfilling the mask".

Jenne of Florida claimed that underwear was within the TSA regulations and that she wore it even though she disagreed with the rule requiring passengers to use mattresses on airplanes.

According to the United Airlines website, masks should be able to cover the mouth and nose completely, a condition that Jenne claims meets her underwear.

He also admitted that he had previously been withdrawn from a Delta Airlines flight for doing the same.
