Too cold? Use thermal underwear: this is how you can wear it

Thermal clothing is a good option, but if you want to go light during the day, thermal underwear is a better option and you can integrate it with your outfits. We leave you some tips.

Thermal underwear? The cold season continues and it seems that temperatures are getting lower and lower. For some, this has become a problem since, not being used to the weather, they don't have the appropriate clothes to wear from day to day without dying (metaphorically, of course) from freezing. The season demands that we buy some extra clothes and although the obvious thing would be to invest in a jacket that covers well, we have other options that can keep us comfortable throughout the day.

We have already talked about thermal clothing, garments whose design focuses on keeping the heat inside the garment, and avoiding the ravages of the cold. These can be some shirts, outer garments or others that have thermal materials. However, wearing these garments, such as buying a large jacket, can be uncomfortable if there are changes in temperature or if you do not like to carry such large garments. In this case, we recommend thermal underwear.

Thermal underwear, as you may have imagined, are garments that are worn under the pants, and shirt, as a way to protect from the cold from the base. These garments are usually quite tight, completely "sticking" to the body. The shirts are usually long-sleeved, so a set covers almost the entire body, except for the feet and the head. These garments will not only protect you from the cold but also serve as an undergarment that we can take advantage of to give an extra touch to our outfit. We leave you some suggestions to overcome the cold with style.

Like a long-sleeved shirt

The undershirt can create any long sleeve look. If you are only looking for protection from a not so intense cold and you can wear a t-shirt on top or a short-sleeved shirt, the sleeves will be seen as part of the look and not as an undergarment. This can even highlight your muscles if you have a bit of an arm. Just make sure you match the colors well and you'll be good to go.

as an undershirt

Thermal underwear, at the end of the day, is an undergarment, so the shirt can be used like any other undershirt, either to create contrast with a shirt on top or to give an interesting look to your look. It is not for you to show it, but only to highlight a little of its color or its cut under another garment. Just try to avoid see-through here, particularly in office attire. If you wear a regular dress shirt, the bottom color might show a lot, so make sure the undergarment is a light color or one that you can match with the shirt. On the other hand, if it's winter and you wear slightly thicker shirts, you may not encounter this problem.

As for the pants...

The pants, for obvious reasons, will not be noticeable in an outfit. You must necessarily use one above. However, some may be able to achieve a gym look with these garments. The only thing to consider is that the garment is created for exercise (there are undergarments designed for this purpose). So thermal pants under shorts will not look bad but as something necessary to do a little exercise. Of course, you can also wear pants, but it depends on your comfort.

A separate recommendation that we make is that you should make sure that you are wearing the appropriate size of thermal underwear. It should be snug but not too tight, and it should be the length of any long-sleeved shirt. Try not to make them too short or too tight, as in addition to being uncomfortable to wear, it will be difficult to make them look good in an outfit.
