 Employment extends to November 12 the deadline to provide coverage to companies affected by ERTE |  Heconomia.es - Economic and business information of Huelva

The Junta de Andalucía has extended the deadlines for aid to companies affected by the health crisis. Regarding the maintenance of employment in companies affected by ERTE, the new deadline until which applications can be submitted is November 12, while state aid for business solvency can be requested until next Tuesday, November 2 .

The territorial delegate for Employment, Training, Self-Employment, Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities, Antonio Augustín, recalled that "the Ministry of Employment, Training and Self-Employment has extended to November 12 the deadline to apply for maintenance aid of employment in companies affected by ERTE, regardless of the economic activity in which they are engaged.

This is the second call, endowed with 165 million euros, which is expected to benefit more than 43,200 Andalusian companies and which, in recent weeks, has recorded more than 200 applications. In its first call, these incentives have reached 4.6 million, which has made it possible to maintain more than 5,500 jobs in 1,306 Huelva companies.”

The incentives to maintain employment in companies affected by ERTE in its second call consist of 505 euros per worker for 4 months. Some requirements have also been made more flexible, such as the possibility that companies and freelancers from all economic activities can request them. As for its presentation, it must be done electronically, through a form available in the electronic window of the SAE website (https://ws109.juntadeandalucia.es/vea-web/)

Coverage for workers in ERTE in Huelva

The Ministry of Employment, Training and Self-Employment is going to enter 779,310 euros in aid of 210 euros in the next few days to a total of 3,711 workers and discontinuous permanent workers in Huelva who have been affected by ERTE since the pandemic began, after the extension of credit available for this measure from 75 to 99.5 million.

Similarly, Antonio Augustín has pointed out that “this new payment is added to the 3,456,600 euros that Employment paid to 16,460 Huelva affected by ERTE this past summer. The total sum in Huelva amounts to 4,235,910 euros and 20,171 people are beneficiaries of this social and labor aid that tries to alleviate the loss of income that people in ERTE have suffered and that arise from the agreement reached with the social agents for the reactivation of the economy. Andalusian”.

“This direct aid to each worker affected by the ERTE situation was activated in March 2021 and initially had a budget of 75 million euros destined for some 344,000 people throughout Andalusia. However, the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) has sent to the Autonomous Administration a new list of people who meet the requirements to access this aid and who had not been included initially, which has motivated this extension of credit in 24.5 million euros that will allow to attend to some 128,000 new beneficiaries in the region”, details the territorial delegate of Employment.

The payment of this aid is made ex officio by the Ministry of Employment, Training and Self-Employment by bank transfer to the current account in which the beneficiary appears as the owner, and this is recorded in the databases of the Public Service of State Employment and the Social Institute of the Navy. In case of not accepting said aid, the beneficiary must present a letter of resignation. With respect to the discontinuous fixed, it is paid to those who are beneficiaries of the extraordinary benefit for the group that was approved with Royal Decree Law 30/2020 of September 29, recognized by SEPE or the Social Institute of the Navy between October 1, 2020 and January 31, 2021.
